rowing up with a single mom on a tight budget taught me early what it meant to go without. While other kids showed up to middle school with trendy new outfits, I got one new shirt from a discount store. Then at 12, I lost my father in a plane crash, and suddenly, survival became about more than just money. It was about finding a way forward when everything felt uncertain.
So I decided education would be my way out. I became a French teacher, then an administrator. I got married, had two babies, and built what looked like a successful life from the outside.
Until it all felt... hollow.
Marriage struggles. Health challenges. Family drama. A cancer diagnosis. Just feeling stuck. Everyone around me seemed to have it figured out - the perfect marriage, job promotions, the effortless confidence. And I was just... holding on.
I kept asking myself: Wasn't I made for more than this?
Then something shifted. Through my research and work as an educator, my faith, and my own personal journey, I discovered science-backed and practical strategies for building confidence that went far beyond affirmations and positive thinking. I started applying them to my own life, doing the inner work and taking consistent action, even when it was hard.

Slowly, everything changed. We repaired our marriage. I stopped letting my career define my identity and worth. I reclaimed my relationship with my health. I rebuilt my confidence from the inside out.
And I realized: This is what I'm called to do. Help women like you stop going through the motions and start living with purpose and joy.

I know what it's like to look like you have it all together on the outside while suffocating on the inside.

Confidence isn't something you're born with. It's something you build.
It's not about having all the answers or never doubting yourself. I learned the real reasons why perfectionism and procrastination affected my confidence and what to do about it.
I learned it's about trusting yourself enough to take action anyway. It's about keeping the small promises you make to yourself, over and over. I learned that trust can become unshakable.
Most importantly, I learned that real confidence is an inside job. No amount of external success, approval, or achievement will give you what you're looking for if you haven't built it from within.

I created Rock Your Reflection because I was tired of seeing brilliant, accomplished women shrink themselves, second-guess their decisions, and wait for permission to take up space in their own lives. You don't need more affirmations. You need practical strategies that actually work. You need someone who gets it - who's been there and found a way through.

Today, I'm still a work in progress, but I'm more confident and more fulfilled than I've ever been. I'm healthier and happier than I've ever been—not because I'm perfect, but because I stopped waiting for perfection to feel confident.
And I'm here to help you do the same.
